Performs network product engineering assignments, including design, development, and testing of network hardware, firmware, or software products or systems. Develops and executes product testing and integration plans or new or updated products. Assignments may include development of new products, enhancements, and modifications of existing products. Manages all or part of the scope, schedule and budget of the assigned project. Provides resolutions or mitigation plans to a diverse range of complex problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices.

Typicaly reports to a second level manager. Not a supervisory position.

This position requires:

• Understanding of wireless networks, knowledge of AT&Ts mobility network or GSM/UMTS networks a plus.
• Overall management of assigned projects, including managing schedule, scope and funding.
• Perform lead technology realization role for assigned projects;
• Lead cross functional teams to deliver project requirements
• Develop and manage schedule for assigned projects using MS Project or other tools;
• Provide project status reporting to management, including the ability to develop presentations
• Execute product development process (TNRP) for assigned projects
• This position requires a technical aptitude and ability to understand wireless concepts; mobility network knowledge preferred.
• Product development and/or large scale software development experience required;
• Management of projects from inception, through requirements, development, testing and deployment a must.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced dynamic environment
