Job Description:
As Product Manager, you are charged with defining the overall product solution to meet the market requirements for Oracle product line with concentration on Oracle EBS, Oracle HCM, Oracle Enterprise Performance OBIEE, and Hyperion product line. This extends from decreasing costs of existing offerings to defining new services for the company. You will help to define new ideas for products and services based on your industry experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for evolving and managing the product definition and roadmap for Oracle EBS, Oracle HCM, Oracle Enterprise Performance, OBIEE and Hyperion product line. The Product Manager will serve as an internal Application Services subject matter expert supporting Product Market Management and Sales as required.
2. Product Manager supports the Product Market Manager in their plans and efforts to launch new product initiatives. This would include drafting technical content for training tools, white papers, proposals and process flow diagrams of all AT&T systems required to support the quote to cash process.
3. Writes and maintains the official product and service definition documents (e.g. Product Description Guide) that detail AT&Ts standard Oracle solutions.
4. Incorporates feedback provided by Product Market Management, Sales, and Client Executives into future product strategy plans for Oracle EBS, OBIEE and Hyperion and requests necessary portfolio funding.
5. Manages in coordination with Sourcing organization required technology vendors relationships to support standardized offerings. Identify and recommend technology vendors and approach (ie. build, buy or partner) to fill product/service gaps.
6. Acts as Client Sponsor of new product initiatives, the Product Manager will manage the project timeline and portfolio budget as well as identify any risks to ensure that new product offerings are launched on-time, on-budget and can be sold and supported effectively.
7. Possess an understanding of the industry, market, buying behaviors and competitors with specific application area.
8. Drives solution set requirements across cross-functional teams (primarily IT, Operations, Care, and Billing Operations.
9. Acts as primary interface to IT, Service Delivery, Care and Pricing organizations.
10. Measured on customer satisfaction, cost savings, on-time and on-budget projects and has revenue accountability.
Candidate must be self-directed, industry-savvy, and results-oriented. Essential for the role are strong interpersonal skills, business analysis acumen, comfortable interacting at the executive level and good presentation skills.
Must have 5-7 years of product management experience in managed services industry. Working knowledge of Oracle EBS solutions and related industry best practices is required.
